Still time for voting in SEG America elections
Reminder: Elections are almost over!
There is still about 1 day left for Advanced members of SEG America to vote on the 2006 Ballot. This is an important election because of the two items on the ballot:
1. The draft By-Laws are up for a ratification vote.
2. The Executive Board officers for 2006-2007 are to be elected.
To vote, you will need to log into the web site by clicking here: http://www.segamerica.org/members/login.php and providing your Email address and your secret password. From the “My Membership Area”, just click on the link for the 2006 Ballot. The ballot page has links to the draft By-Laws and candidate bios and instructions on how to vote.
Remember, you must press the “Submit” button to cast your vote and you can only vote once. The voting goes until midnight on the evening of August 8th, with the results announced by Aug 15th and the new Executive Board taking office on Sept 1st.
Instructions for Basic members who wish to upgrade to Advanced:
All you have to do is pay the $15 Advanced membership dues for the next year. Just log in as described above and you will be taken to the “My Membership Information” screen where you can order and pay for an Advanced membership. Once this is done, you must log out and then log back into the SEG America web site again and you will be an Advanced member with full voting rights.
