I am a passionate individual that is ready to step up and do what I can to help forward the interests to the Segway community and to Seg America in particular.

I am involved in many municipal and private committees and clubs. I am familiar with the structure and management of many different types. I will strive to solidify the structure and form of Seg America. Further than that, I am an advocate of open and regular communication between the management of organizations of this sort and encourage open and regular exchanges…

Some of my many planks that I stand upon and for would be regular reports to the membership as well as completion and ratification of both the bylaws and the charter, and adoption of a printed operating procedure. I would also strive to include and further the efforts of the current Board in the events calendar. I believe that Segfests are spectacular events, and have yet to be at a group meeting of segways and their riders where a great time was not had by all! We need to do all that we can to motivate this continued activity…

One last consideration, with regard to helping with local legislation, I do not know of the extent of Seg America’s resources, but believe that we can serve as a information center where we can either help with a particular problem or at least connect the people trying to get a legislation passed with those that can help. Communication again plays a major role…
