Joanne is a 40-something, Information Technology consultant from Long Island, New York. Married, she and her husband Steven are a two Segway family. Joanne has been an active member of the New York City Segway owners’ group since it was founded in June, 2003. She has worked over the past 2 years to help legislative efforts in New York State and testified at the New York City Council hearing in March, 2004, as a representative of SEG America.

Joanne was a member of the SEG America organizing committee in January through May of 2004. She has served as SEG America’s first Secretary this past year and worked on the SEG America SegwayFests that have taken place in Sacramento, CA and Manchester, NH.

Joanne wants to put her enthusiasm and business skills to work, together with the new Executive Board, to help SEG America grow over the next year.
